Noah's Ark

Task: Students in this group will travel to Noah’s Ark Preschool in Riverstone and help to sort through boxes of toys to identify any repairs required, as well as cleaning, labelling and packing the toys. Noah's Ark Preschool has a 15 year history offering quality early childhood education in a friendly, caring and Christian environment. They provide a high quality Christian, community-based, early childhood service - the primary goal of which is to honour the God-given uniqueness of each child, in order to assist them to develop to their fullest potential. The preschool is currently operating out of Riverstone Uniting Church after a roof fire damaged their premises.

For the past two days the students have been attending Noah’s Ark Preschool in Riverstone. Each student has thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being able to play with the students, colour in with them, help in the garden and assist with making Christmas decorations and making hampers to bless the local community.

The students in this group travel to Noah’s Ark Preschool each morning to help with classes and to engage with the kids. I spoke with Victoria, Monique and Claire and they said that they love helping out at the preschool and have made some little friends amongst the children there.
